Very Important- When you go to have a Pediicure- and the nice lady (who has the pleasure of having to look at your feral unkept feet) says to you – “Would you like me to wax your toes as well ? “……… LISTEN TO HER !!!!!!
Because I said NO THANKS, didn’t I ?
And pondered on it for HOURS, then went home, and in the shower that night, decide to SHAVE my toes, and now I have what I would call a CHUNK of skin missing from my second toe !!!!
FYI- Listen to the nice lady- she really knows what she’s talking about.

When one is purchasing their new pair of Stockings for Winter-
One SHOULD NOT, under ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, buy then from the shop in the middle of the aisle at Chermside !!!!! It is an Asian shop, and a big FYI- “Extra Tall” in Asia- does NOT mean 173cm as I am, it means 2 foot NOTHING!!!!!
And therefore, you ( When I say you, I mean ME) end up with your crutch around your knees, and have to go the the bathroom at work every 5 minutes to fix them up!!!!
Looking on the bright side though, I did find my 30 minutes of exercise to and from the bathroom!!!

I just HAD to share this with you— My Mothers Day card, (which sits with pride on my bedside table) from Karla.
I do have some questions, however-
1. Why am I so tall?
2. Or rather, why is Rob so short?
3. Why does Rob look like he’s having triplets?
4. Why is everyone’s feet the same size as their head?
And now that I look closely-
5. Why are my legs attachd to the swing and not to my body?
6. Why is one of my legs broken?
Hmmmm…
Anyway- I LOVE IT !!!!! and wouldn’t have it any other way.

Today Meegan and Owie left for their 4 year holiday to Syd-a-ney. While we will miss Marc, Meegs and Owie terribly, we will see them soon !!! So get that house unpacked Mrs Harvey, and get that spare room ready- the Mac Lors are coooming !!!!! Be afraid….

So, that’s our life so far in a Nutshell. A few of you know that about 4 months ago Rob & I took on a restaurant, and are about to leave the restaurant in 12 days time. Thankyou to those people who have given us advice ( The Kyles, The Harveys and all parents) and support ( all people above ) and to Marc & Jane who had to physically give blood & sweat !!!! And the reason why we are pulling out of the restaurant ? I haven’t seen Rob Mac for more than half a day for 4 months. The restaurant is just so COMSUMING. And not that Rob & I are afraid of hard work, but life is too short to spend it in a kitchen away from your family and freinds.
So- onto our next adventure, whatever that may be !!!

Rob & I moved into Wynnum in April 2006. In Jan 2007, Rob Mac introduces himself to the “Neighbours”, and invites them over for a BBQ on Australia Day. “Great”, I say- NOT. Living in a town house complex is bad enough sometimes, when you feel like you’ve got people living on top of you! However, of all the people Rob has to chat to ( Not that Rob finds it hard- Rob could talk under water with a mouthfull of marbles !!! ), he finds a young couple- Marc & Meegan Harvey, and their 2 year old son Owen.
Not only do Rob & Marc start getting along like house on fire, I find someone with-
The same first name WITH THE SAME SPELLING !!!!
The same age
The same shoe size
The same dress size
The same love of all things good- Dark Chocolate Malteasers, Biggest Loser, Flannellette P.J.’s, Sushi…… You get the picture!!!
So, since then, Rob and I have found friends for life. And while they are moving to Sydney soon, I know that distance is no matter when you read each others thoughts !!! Meegan Harvey is toooooo special, and is the other Bridesmaid in the “Matrons of Horror”, as Rob has named Jane & Meegan. Like Tom for Rob, Jane & Meegs Harvey are my sounding boards- they are great advice givers, and they are there to let me know when I’m becoming TOOOO HIGH MAINTENANCE !!!!!!
ANDDDDD……
Our Life would not be complete without this little guy- Owen Harvey. He really is a breath of fresh air, and comes out with the MOST adorable sayings ( like when he copied us all saying “Holy Crap”, note one of his mothers comments on my blog ???? )
